Too much of something can be a "bad" thing. Whenever I obsess about fashion for too long I take a break watch Bleach and Community, study physics (Did you know glass is a liquid and it flows?? Mind blown)..Then I'm back again.
For today's post I bring you my latest attraction. I get the feeling that I'm 5 years behind on this one, but who cares right? Right! Ladies and super cool gentlemen (super cool because they read this blog of coarse, I kid) I bring you Street Etiquette.

It's safe to say that this was an immediate hit. See boys, there's A LOT more to style or swag than skinny jeans and Supra's.

Black & White

Black and white, two of my favourite colours never fail me. Let's not forget they're lovechild Grey (ahhh...so classic). Most of the time whenever I hear people talk about grey the word dull comes up quite a few times. But I disagree 156 % ! Grey is beautiful colour, it's so versatile, so simple. If you ask me even the weather excites me when it's all dark and grey. Ooh, I just noticed even right now, I'm wearing my favourite grey shirt (which I got from Toi for 30 bob! YES KES 30 which at the moment is $0.30!)

Back to today's post before I go on and on about how awesome Toi is. Quick inspiration photos for future purchases. Looking at everything here just gives me warm fuzzy feelings inside!

Shutter Bug 2

I must say that fashion in Kenya has changed DRASTICALLY. People are shying away from mainstream trends and are slowly edging closer to more eclectic, personal style.(Yes, this is a subliminal message) On shutter bug 2, Our mufti-day proved a turning point concerning my ideas of fashion in this country and i must say i am proud. We have managed to create trends for ourselves, (Note the many Maasai bangles the girls had and the slowly emerging ''kanga'' trend on shutter bug 1.) What's more to note is how guys are on this post. The general idea according to fashionistas here is that they[guys] had stopped caring... well, i am just as disillusioned as you are.

Floral Prints are in this summer. The sandals are in too.

So last weekend nether of us could attend the fashion market, how sad yeah? Things just came up then I got sick, anyway so last week Friday was Mufti-Day in school. Well, not really, but yeah. Anyway Annie and I were pleasantly surprised by the number of people that - I don't want to say looked good, let's just say there was something we liked about them.
We grouped them up into editions. Here it goes, In the beginning there were these:

About a week ago, right before a leadership training meeting outside of school I sat on gum. Yup I sat on gum... in skinny white cotton trousers. So, like the super quick thinker I am, I survey the surrounding area for anything helpful and in the distance what do I see? My sister with a kanga on her shoulder. Luckily she was having those one of those really rare good days and she passed it on to me (thank you Wanjira). Anyway I tied it around my waste like Knicco has above. After looking in the mirror I thought it looked pretty cool. I think this could pick on. It's really easy-breezy you know like for one of those days, you know, those days. I've only so far seen this worn with skinny pants but I love the idea of a bright kanga with plain white shorts.

If I were a boy...

I think I'd be Nicholas Wooster, definitely. He's so cool, like a fictional sartorial-badass hero. I'm not even gonna tag him as a Silly Little Freak, he's WAY more cooler than that. I'd love to have as many tattoo's across my arm as he does and not face execution by mother supreme. 

..or Karl Edwin Guerre of  former Swagger 360 now Guerreisms. Sometimes when I look at him, he sort of seems fictional too, like he walked out of a fifties-sixties movie.

Maybe be even Milan Vukmirovic (I kid you not, every time I've googled is his name I've gotten the spelling wrong). I'm sorry, it's a beautiful name though.
